Tarja Turunen

Tarja Soile Susanna Turunen-Cabuli was born on August 17th, 1977, in Puhos, Finland, to a family with a strong musical background. She has one older brother, Timo, and one younger brother, Toni. Her early life was marked by a natural talent for music, which was first noticed when she sang "Enkeli taivaan" at the Kitee church hall at just three years old. This was followed by vocal lessons and membership in the church choir.
