Born on January 12th, 1984, in the vibrant city of Tehran, she entered the world with a rich cultural heritage. Her father, Hamid Alidoosti, a former national team football player, had a profound influence on her early life. In 2000, she began her journey as an actress by visiting Amin Tarokh's renowned acting school. Her talent was soon recognized, and she was chosen for her first role in the critically acclaimed film "I'm Taraneh, 15" in 2002. This initial success marked the beginning of a remarkable career, which has been punctuated by numerous awards and accolades.
The silver Leopard at the 55th Locarno film festival and the Cristal Simorgh at Iran's prestigious Fajr film festival were just the beginning. Her next appearance was three years later in Asghar Farhadi's "Beautiful City" in 2004. This was followed by "Fireworks Wednesday" in 2006 and "About Elly" in 2009, both directed by the acclaimed filmmaker.
