Sybil Lines, professionally known as Marion Lines, embarked on a distinguished journey in the world of performing arts, commencing her training at the prestigious London's Central School of Speech and Drama. This marked the beginning of a remarkable career, as she went on to join the esteemed Royal Shakespeare Company for a period of two years, alongside the illustrious Dame Judi Dench and the renowned director, John Barton.
As her talent and experience continued to flourish, Sybil's Broadway credits began to accumulate, featuring notable productions such as Bedroom Farce alongside the accomplished John Lithgow, Waiting in the Wings with the legendary Lauren Bacall, and Lettice & Lovage with the iconic Dame Maggie Smith.
In addition to her Broadway credits, Sybil's Off-Broadway credits include a range of esteemed institutions, including Manhattan Theatre Club, Roundabout, Pearl, and La Mama. Her extensive theatre credits throughout the United States span numerous major roles at prominent venues, including Pasadena Playhouse, Princeton, Goodman in Chicago, South Coast Rep., Seattle's ART, and Michael Kahn's Shakespeare Theatre in Washington D.C.
Sybil's screen credits are equally impressive, featuring roles for the BBC, as well as notable appearances in Murder She Wrote, Mickey Blue Eyes, and the recurring role of the villainous Libby Webster in the popular soap-opera Edge of Night.
In addition to her numerous credits, Sybil Lines is also a dedicated instructor, teaching at the renowned Circle in the Square Theatre School during the summer months. Her extensive experience, combined with her passion for the performing arts, make her an invaluable asset to the world of theatre.
