Susan Sennett, a captivating blonde with an endearing charm and spirited personality, was born on February 29, 1952, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley, she developed a keen interest in the arts and attended a charm school on Ventura Boulevard, where she refined her etiquette and poise.
As a member of the Visual Girls, an arts group, for two years, Susan honed her creative skills and explored her passion for art. She also worked at the teenage fair and later studied acting under the tutelage of the renowned Stella Adler.
Susan's early foray into acting led her to secure roles in several films and television shows. Her breakout performance as the innocent and fragile "Candy" in the controversial exploitation thriller, The Candy Snatchers (1973),showcased her impressive range as an actress. She also contributed a spirited portrayal as Angie Dickinson's shameless daughter, "Billy Jean", in the action-packed Depression-era cult favorite, Big Bad Mama (1974).
In addition to her film work, Susan had a recurring role as the perky college student "Susie Hamilton" in the short-lived sitcom, Ozzie's Girls (1973). She made guest appearances on various TV shows, including The Rookies (1972),Love, American Style (1969),Room 222 (1969),and Lucas Tanner (1974).
However, Susan voluntarily quit acting in the mid-1970s, citing discomfort with the racy material she was being offered. She reportedly walked out of the audition for the pilot of the risqué sitcom, Three's Company (1976).
In 1977, Susan married the renowned musician, Graham Nash, of Crosby Stills & Nash fame, and the couple has three children together, including writer/actor/director Jackson Nash.
Today, Susan has shifted her focus to building and designing houses, as well as working with the Children's Storybook Theatre of Hawaii, where she brings her creative energy and passion for storytelling to the stage.
