Karen Sue Levitt, born on November 14, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York, was destined for greatness, despite her petite stature at 4' 11". Initially planning to pursue a career in farming, her parents had other plans, hoping she would attend the University of Southern California.
However, Sue had other aspirations. She chose to forgo college and embark on a successful modeling career, which would eventually lead her to become the Playmate of the Month in the April 1965 issue of Playboy magazine. Under the pseudonym Sue Williams, she made history as one of the shortest women to ever pose for the iconic publication.
Following her stint as a Playboy Playmate, Hamilton briefly worked as a secretary and receptionist at a film-processing firm in Burbank, California. Her modeling career and striking features caught the attention of a scout from American International Pictures, leading to a long-term multi-movie contract with the studio.
Sue made her film debut with a small part in "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini" and went on to act in a handful of movies for American International Pictures. Tragically, her life was cut short when she passed away at the age of 23 on September 2, 1969, due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
