Steven Man is an extraordinary individual whose remarkable story is a testament to perseverance and determination. As an eight-year-old child, he began creating 8mm movies, taking on the roles of producer, director, and star. However, unforeseen financial pressures soon arose, and he was forced to put his passion for filmmaking on hold to work multiple jobs and attend school.
Years later, in his mid-twenties, Steven's persistence paid off, and he acquired his first company, a visual display and float building operation in Vancouver, Canada, which he transformed into an international award-winning business. As the company grew, he made time to return to his love of acting for film.
A life-changing decision to leave the corporate world behind and focus on his acting career brought him to Los Angeles, where he quickly landed principal roles in independent features and soon after, a lead in another. With his impressive range, Steven has taken on a variety of roles, from the reluctant hero to the charming, manipulative antagonist. He has portrayed iconic characters such as Bond-esque CIA agent Robert Tenant, the elegant manipulator Jack Stone, the sympathetic parapsychologist Dr. Ian Tarkovsky, and the infamous Boston Strangler, Albert DeSalvo.
As a consummate professional, Steven has earned the respect of directors, who continue to collaborate with him. He is a devoted father, partner, and friend, who takes his role as a role model seriously, proving that it's never too late to pursue one's dreams.
Under his production company, Manmade Entertainment Productions Inc., Steven is developing and producing a diverse slate of projects, including feature films, television, and specialty content. He is dedicated to nurturing new talent and creating projects that will resonate with audiences, including his own daughter, Chiara, whom he hopes will laugh and enjoy his films.
