Sterling Anderson is a renowned screenwriter, celebrated for his outstanding work in the industry. A three-time NAACP Image Award nominee for best screenwriter, he has also won the prestigious Movieguide Faith & Freedom award and the Christopher award for his exceptional work on "The Gabby Douglas Story".
Throughout his illustrious career, Sterling has written for numerous prominent network television shows, including "The Unit" on CBS, NBC's "Medium" and "Heist". His teleplay, "The Simple Life of Noah Dearborn", which was written for CBS and starred Sidney Poitier, received a remarkable three Emmy nominations and won an NAACP Image Award. His extensive resume boasts screenplays written for esteemed production companies such as Lions Gate, Disney, HBO, TriStar Pictures, and Columbia Pictures.
As a highly accomplished writer, Sterling has also honed his skills as an educator. He graduated with a degree in English from St. Mary's College and went on to teach screenwriting courses as an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts for five years.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Sterling spent his early childhood in Tuskegee, Alabama, before relocating to Davis, California. Beyond his remarkable achievements in the world of writing, Sterling is also a skilled martial artist, holding a fifth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Additionally, he was an award-winning winemaker in Napa Valley, showcasing his versatility and talent in various pursuits.
