Steve Conroy's early life took place in the scenic regions of Northwest Florida and South Alabama, where he developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors. Prior to his illustrious military career, Steve worked as a beach lifeguard, honing his skills in a high-pressure environment.
Steve's remarkable military journey began when he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Force Recon Marine in Afghanistan. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant, a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and unwavering dedication. During his time in the Marines, Steve underwent rigorous training, including Airborne, Airborne Jumpmaster, Freefall, Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques Master, and numerous shooting, medical, and driving courses. He also obtained an EMT-B license, showcasing his adaptability and commitment to excellence.
Steve's passion for adventure and thrill-seeking led him to pursue a career in skydiving. He became a United States Parachutists Association D License, Coach, Accelerated Freefall Instructor, Tandem Instructor, and PRO-rated skydiver, with an impressive 3000 jumps under his belt. Steve also worked as a skydive pilot, operating PAC 750s, King Airs, and Twin Otters.
Beyond his skydiving exploits, Steve is a highly accomplished aviator. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot license, is a Certified Flight Instructor, Commercial Seaplane Pilot, and Commercial Drone Pilot, with type ratings in the King Air 350.
Today, Steve resides in Idaho and Wyoming, where he devotes his free time to a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, rafting, back-country flying, hunting, and camping. His love for the great outdoors is evident in his adventurous spirit and his dedication to living life to the fullest.
