Stephanie Lemelin is a talented actress who has made a name for herself in both TV and film, showcasing her range in comedies and dramas, as well as lending her voice to numerous cartoons, movies, video games, and commercials. In addition to her acting career, Stephanie has also co-written and produced two movies with In-Motion Pictures in 2007.
Born in southern New Jersey to a mom from Philly and a dad from Quebec, Stephanie grew up outside of Philadelphia until the age of 10, when her family began to move frequently due to her father's hockey career, which took them to Atlanta, Georgia; Calgary, Alberta, Canada; and Boston, Massachusetts. This nomadic lifestyle had a profound impact on Stephanie, teaching her to adapt and blend in with different towns and cities at a young age.
Stephanie began her acting career professionally soon after moving to Los Angeles in 2001, following her graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Communications with a minor in English. During her junior year, she spent a year abroad at UNSW (Sydney, Australia),interning for Network 9 as a production assistant.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has been cast in numerous TV pilots, including Satisfaction, Men AtWork, The Whole Truth, Bunker Hill, Canned, Good Behavior, Cavemen, The Funkhousers, and several others. She has also guest-starred in many network shows, such as Bones, Brothers and Sisters, The League, The Closer, Melissa & Joey, CSI: Las Vegas, Malcolm in the Middle, Rules of Engagement, Run of the House, Out of Practice, and The Mullets.
Stephanie's voice-over credits include Mei Ling in the Dreamworks Kung Fu Panda franchise, as well as roles in several commercials, including Taco Bell, Nintendo 3DS, Lunchables, and Supercuts. Her breakout v/o role was series regular Artemis on Cartoon Network's "Young Justice", where she also played Tigress, Catherine Colbert, and the voice of The Computer. She has also voiced numerous characters in videogames, including Sunset Overdrive, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Hitman: Absolution, and The Croods video game.
In her personal life, Stephanie is married to martial artist and Krav Maga third-degree black belt A.J. Draven. The couple has three children, including a son named Xavier and identical twin girls named Lola and Rocky. Stephanie is a passionate animal lover and has been involved in several charitable organizations, including the non-profit Angel City Pit Bulls and Best Friends Animal Society.
