Stefanie Mah Woodburn is a multifaceted creative force, excelling as a screenwriter, performer, and award-winning playwright. Her impressive television writing credits include SO HELP ME TODD, broadcast on CBS, as well as notable feature credits such as FUSION, produced by Blue Sky Animation, and AMERICAN PIE PRESENTS: GIRLS' RULES, a Universal Pictures production.
As a highly accomplished individual, Stefanie has graduated from prestigious programs, including the CBS/Paramount TV Writers Fellowship, Ron Howard's Imagine Impact, and the CAPE Writers Fellowship. Her unique voice was first discovered on Twitch, where she spent thousands of hours hosting on Geek & Sundry before establishing her own channel.
In addition to her screenwriting credits, Stefanie has made a significant impact in the film industry. She wrote and produced the first film funded by playing video games, which earned recognition as an official selection in 18 film festivals. Furthermore, her feature script, TWENTY-TWO, was selected as a top 10 Feature Screenplay Finalist for the 2024 CAPE Black List.
Stefanie is an active member of the Los Angeles Female Playwrights Initiative and has written and directed her first award-winning play at the 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival. She is dedicated to inspiring compassion and understanding through media that showcases women's leadership and multiculturalism.
When not creating, Stefanie enjoys teaching screenwriting at Script Anatomy, mentoring writers through the CoverFly Mentorship Program, and volunteering with WriteGirl, a creative writing and mentoring organization that empowers teen girls. A summa cum laude graduate of NYU, Stefanie has also worked as an entertainment technology consultant and has a background in dance, having captained her high school show choir and performed in NYC and Paris.
