Sondra, a seasoned theatre professional with over 25 years of experience, has had the privilege of being part of more than 70 productions across the country, from the East Coast to the West Coast. Her passion, however, lies in sharing her expertise with the next generation, teaching children the art of musical theatre.
Sondra's educational background is impressive, with a graduate degree from the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the renowned New School in New York City.
As the Theatre Arts Director and Co-Founder of the Act Too Players, Sondra has directed over 60 children's productions at the Boiler Room Theatre. Her impressive resume includes directing mainstage productions of beloved musicals such as My Fair Lady, Damn Yankees, The Will Rogers Follies, The Fantasticks, Oliver, and Parade.
As a performer, Sondra has had the opportunity to take on a wide range of roles, showcasing her versatility and talent. Some of her notable performances include Toad in Frog and Toad, Chick in Crimes of the Heart, Fanny Brice in Funny Girl in Concert, and Agnes in I Do! I Do!
Sondra has also had the pleasure of performing on many Nashville stages, including the Boiler Room Theatre, Circle Players, Pull-Tight Theatre, Writer's Stage, and Middle Tennessee State University. In New York, she has appeared on stages such as Maximillion Productions, Gallery Players, TheatreWorksUSA, Once Upon a Time, and Town Hall.
Currently a resident of Franklin, Tennessee, Sondra is represented by Sharon Smith Talent and continues to share her passion for musical theatre with children and audiences alike.
