Sidi Henderson, a talented individual, was born in the vibrant city of Cincinnati, Ohio. His most recent notable appearance can be seen in the 2022 film Block Party, as well as the 2020 Sundance Film Festival feature Dinner in America. Furthermore, he has also made notable appearances in various other films and projects, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Sparkle, The Owner, and Misled.
Prior to his acting career, Sidi lived in Detroit for several years, where he developed a deep understanding of the city and its culture. He then relocated to Washington D.C. before eventually moving back to Michigan in the early 1980s.
During his time at Central Michigan University, Sidi pursued his passion for broadcasting and theatre, studying these fields and gaining valuable experience through various extracurricular activities. He booked concerts, chaired the university's entertainment organization, and even began his voice acting career by cutting spots for local radio stations. Additionally, he trained in the university's theatre department and co-founded the rock band Civilians, releasing six recordings and touring extensively throughout the east coast and midwest.
After graduating, Sidi worked on-air and as a producer in Detroit radio, while also acting in industrial films and voicing national radio and TV commercials. He made his film debut in the psychological thriller Nevermore, co-starring with Judd Nelson. When not acting, Sidi assists best-selling author Mitch Albom as the Creative Audio Producer for the Mitch Albom Radio Show on WJR in Detroit. He also occasionally sits in as the lead singer of Detroit's premiere horn band, Mainstreet Soul, and plays bass guitar with other groups, including Mr. Seley and the Troublemakers, a band that specializes in original rock music for kids.
Sidi currently resides in Detroit with his wife, Kim, and continues to build upon his impressive list of accomplishments, proudly representing the city he calls home.
