Biography

Sherry Buchanan, a stunning and captivating brunette, was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, and spent her formative years in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana. Her journey in the Italian film industry began shortly after completing high school, when she unexpectedly replaced a production secretary during the filming of the renowned "My Name Is Nobody" (1973) in Louisiana. This serendipitous opportunity led Buchanan to relocate to Rome, Italy, where she established herself as a successful model before making her acting debut in the giallo thriller "What Have They Done to Your Daughters?" (1974). As her career progressed, Buchanan continued to act in both films and television commercials, but eventually decided to take a hiatus from acting after discovering that a body double was used without her knowledge or consent for explicit hardcore insert scenes in the low-grade exploitation film "Emanuelle and Joanna" (1979). Following this experience, Buchanan returned to the United States, enrolling in sociology studies at Layola University in New Orleans, before eventually relocating back to Italy to resume her acting career in minor roles. After a successful acting career spanning over a decade, Buchanan ultimately decided to retire from the entertainment industry in 1987.
