Shashank Khaitan is a multifaceted Indian film professional, renowned for his work in Bollywood, who has made a name for himself through his affiliation with Dharma Productions.
His journey in the entertainment industry began in the year 2000, teaching dance, before joining Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods International Institute in 2005 to pursue a career in filmmaking. After graduating in 2008, he started his script-writing career.
Between 2010 and 2013, he wrote seven screenplays with dialogues, which were sent to the creative team at Dharma Productions. His final script, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, was approved and directed by Karan Johar, resulting in a commercial success, grossing over Rs. one billion worldwide.
