Shane Henry, a multi-talented singer/songwriter/guitarist from Oklahoma, embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 19 when he opened for the legendary B.B. King at 30 dates on the B.B. King Festival Tour.
Over the years, Shane's style has evolved significantly, transitioning from a blues-influenced sound to a captivating blend of rock, soul, blues, and pop. His impressive list of opening acts includes Etta James, The Neville Brothers, Jonny Lang, and many more.
In 2017, Shane released his newest album, Light in the Dark, which has garnered significant attention. His music has also been featured in various TV shows, such as The Young & The Restless, and films, including Approaching The Unknown.
In addition to his solo career, Shane is also one half of the band The Imaginaries, which he formed in 2018 with his wife, singer/songwriter Maggie McClure. Their debut self-titled album, released on March 26, 2021, showcases their unique blend of Americana music, combining Shane's blues-rock grit with Maggie's subtly sweet vocals and piano style.
The Imaginaries have had the opportunity to open for notable acts, including the Brian Setzer Orchestra Christmas Rocks! Tour (25 dates across the USA) in November-December 2019 and Judy Collins and John Waite in 2021.
Shane has also made a name for himself in the film and television industry, appearing in numerous feature films and TV shows. He has written and produced music for various films and is a Co-Producer of the upcoming feature film "A Cowgirl's Song," written and directed by Timothy Armstrong. The film stars Cheryl Ladd, Savannah Lee, and Darci Lynne, and Shane and Maggie co-star, writing the entire soundtrack for the film.
