Meet the accomplished individual, a national scholar in Accounts, who took an unconventional route in life. Born and raised in New Delhi, he completed his high school education at St. Xavier's High School, before pursuing his undergraduate degree at St. Stephen's College, Delhi University. Following his graduation, he was poised to take up an MBA and join his father's business, but fate had other plans.
Undeterred by the nepotistic industry he was about to enter, he chose to take a bold step and enroll at the prestigious Vancouver Film School to hone his skills as a cinematographer. As he delved deeper into the world of filmmaking, his interests shifted towards direction. Upon graduating from film school, he relocated to Mumbai, the epicenter of India's film and media industry.
His journey to success began in earnest as he assisted renowned filmmakers, including Academy Award winner Errol Morris and Emmy Award winner Christopher Wilcha, during their projects in India. He also had the privilege of working with prominent Bollywood production houses, such as Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions.
At the tender age of 28, he took the reins and directed his debut Bollywood feature film, Ek main aur Ek tu, starring leading actors and backed by the powerhouse production company, Dharma Productions. The film received widespread acclaim at the box office and was praised by critics for its quality.
