Biography

Syed, a remarkable individual, spent his formative years in the impoverished slums of Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka, India. This humble beginning would lay the foundation for his remarkable journey ahead. As he grew older, Syed would venture to Bombay, where he would be joined by some of his childhood friends.

The years that followed would see Syed eke out a living as a pedestrian, residing on the pavement near the bustling Churchgate Railway Station. Little did he know that his life was about to take a dramatic turn. In 1988, Syed would land a breakthrough role in the Academy Award-nominated film "Salaam Bombay!" directed by the acclaimed Mira Nair.

This pivotal moment in his career would not go unnoticed, as Syed would go on to win the National Film Award for Best Child Artist at the 36th National Film Awards in 1989. This recognition would serve as a testament to his exceptional talent and mark the beginning of a long and illustrious career in the world of cinema.
