Mike McPadden, born William Michael McPadden on August 21, 1968, in Brooklyn, New York, began his academic journey at Xavier High School, graduating in 1986.
He then pursued higher education at the State University of New York in Purchase, graduating in 1990.
McPadden's early career in the adult entertainment industry commenced with a stint as a contributing writer for the publication "Screw" from 1993 to 1998, followed by a brief tenure as the entertainment editor for "Hustler" from 1993 to 1995.
Additionally, he founded and edited his own fanzine, "Happyland", serving as publisher and head writer from 1991 to 2002.
Notably, McPadden wrote the scripts for the hardcore pornography film "The Devil in Miss Jones 5: The Inferno" and the soft-core film "Animal Instincts III".
In May 2003, McPadden joined Mr.Skin.com as head writer and editorial director, a position he held for an extended period.
