Searit Huluf, a remarkable Ethiopian-American filmmaker, emerged from the culturally rich and diverse city of Los Angeles, California, where her formative years were shaped by the city's vibrant atmosphere. Aspiring to refine her skills and expertise in the film industry, Searit embarked on an academic journey, enrolling in the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA),within the distinguished Theater, Film and Television school. At UCLA, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television, an intensive program that allowed her to delve deeper into the intricacies of filmmaking, develop her creative voice, and cultivate a strong foundation in the technical aspects of the craft. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, Searit made the bold and ambitious decision to relocate to the Bay Area, a hub for innovation and creativity, where she secured a coveted position at Pixar Animation Studios, a globally recognized and respected animation powerhouse.
