Sasha Eden is a multifaceted individual, exceling as both an actor and producer. Her impressive credentials include receiving TheHarlequin More Than Words Award for being a "real life heroine" and being selected by The UTNE Reader as one of the 25 Visionaries Who AreChanging Your World.
As an actor, Sasha has showcased her talent on stage, television, and film. Her notable projects include the Off-Broadway premieres of I StandBefore You Naked II, Bold Girls, Scab, and BFF; The Women's Project andThe Magic Theater's world premiere co-production of A Very CommonProcedure by Courtney Baron; Moonworks' acclaimed production of AMidsummer Night's Dream; Film: Fall to Rise, Uggs For Gaza, Sunburn,The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: Hers, Canvas, Tonight at Noon; TV:Law and Order, Guiding Light, Kci and JoJo's All My Life (MTV videonominee); Web-series: Changing Gears (by Christian Finnegan). She hasalso appeared in numerous commercials, voice-overs, and print campaigns since the age of ten, and has trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse,BADA, Circle in the Square Theater School, Upright Citizens Brigade, and with Ron Van Lieu and currently with Harold Guskin.
Sasha began her producing career working for advertising giant BBDO,producing national commercials for Pizza Hut, Snickers, and Duracell. In1999, she co-founded the critically acclaimed 501c3 non-profitorganization WET Productions, with a mission to challenge femalestereotypes and advocate for equality. Throughout her fourteen yeartenure as WET's Artistic and Creative Director, Sasha created,developed, and produced all of WET's productions, programs, and events,working with celebrated writers, directors, and actors.
As a public speaker, Sasha has served as the moderator for six years onWET's Risk Takers Series, facilitating discussions with guest RiskTakers including Ally Sheedy, Alison Lohman, Keri Russell, FrancesMcDormand, Mary-Louise Parker, Kelly McGillis, Lily Taylor, KerryWashington, and Audra McDonald. Sasha regularly appears on panels andleads seminars on the subject of women in the entertainment industry,media literacy, girls' self-esteem, and producing your own work, andhas been a guest speaker and teacher at HB Studios, UJA, The AmericanTheater Wing, NYU, NYMF, Wagner, and Berkley College.
A lifelong New Yorker, Sasha graduated from The Chapin School andVassar College. She is a proud member of Actor's Equity, and SAG-AFTRA, and is a member of WET's Board of Directors and the AdvisoryBoard for The Adrienne Shelly Foundation. Sasha lives in Brooklyn withher husband and son.
