Sandra embarked on a professional acting career in her 50s, a late but fulfilling start, after a life marked by significant challenges. Prior to pursuing her passion for acting, Sandra had to overcome the trauma of incest, perpetrated by her own father, which had a profound impact on her life. At the tender age of 17, she left home and spent six months living on the streets, a difficult and trying period.
However, during this tumultuous time, Sandra discovered yoga, which would become a lifelong practice. The physical and mental discipline of yoga, combined with recovery therapy, brought her a sense of peace and helped her to heal. It was only later, as a result of her personal growth and self-discovery, that Sandra turned her attention to the world of drama.
With a natural flair and a slight New York accent, Sandra has found that acting has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. Her passion for the craft was ignited during her first workshop, and she has been committed to this journey ever since. Audiences have been known to be completely absorbed in her performances, often remarking that they feel as though they are witnessing the character come to life. Sandra's organic and natural approach to acting has earned her a reputation as a talented and authentic performer.
