Sam Pancake is a multifaceted individual, exceling as an actor, writer, improvisor, and comedian. Born in Petersburg, Virginia on May 10, 19??, Pancake spent his formative years in Romney, West Virginia, where he attended Hampshire High School.
Pancake's academic pursuits led him to West Virginia University, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. This marked the beginning of a nearly thirty-year career as one of the few openly gay continuously working actors of his generation.
Throughout his career, Pancake has made significant appearances in various TV series, including "A Million Little Things," "Dumplin'," "Abby's," and "Search Party." He has also recurred or guest-starred on numerous shows such as "Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life," "The Mick," "Transparent," "Major Crimes," "Documentary Now," "Arrested Development," "Friends," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Will and Grace," "Charmed," "West Wing," "NYPD Blue," and many more.
Pancake has had regular roles on critically acclaimed series, such as Fox's "Kitchen Confidential" and Lifetime's "Lovespring International." His extensive film work includes "You're Killing Me'," "Space Station 76," "The Hungover Games," "Out West," "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3," "Over Her Dead Body," "Straight Jacket," "Win A Date With Tad Hamilton!," "Legally Blonde 2," "Gia," and the cult drag hit "Girls Will Be Girls."
