Biography

Safaa Sultaan, a Syrian actor of Palestinian and Jordanian descent, was born on March 14, 1980. Despite not having formal training in acting, she made her debut in a documentary about real stories, originally produced in English, by dubbing the Arabic voice of a woman whose husband died during the construction of the Pyramids of Giza.

Safaa's breakthrough came when she met actor Yasser El Azma, who recognized her immense talent and guided her in honing her craft. In addition to acting, Sultaan is also a skilled singer, showcasing her talent from a young age.

Throughout her education, Sultaan divided her time between Jordan and Syria before traveling to the United States to pursue a degree in dentistry. However, she returned to Syria before completing her studies.

Safaa's entrance into the artistic world was facilitated by the TV series Mirrors, which premiered in 2003. Her most notable role to date is that of Laila Mouraad in the Egyptian TV series My Heart Is My Guide, which catapulted her to fame across the Arab world in 2009.
