Sabina Akhmedova's journey in the world of arts began at the tender age of 16 when she enrolled in Moscow's Institute of Modern Arts. For the next four years, she had the privilege of studying alongside esteemed members of the Moscow Art Theatre, founded by the legendary Constantin Stanislavsky. Her stage debut was a memorable one, as she took on the role of Rosa Gonzalez in Tennessee Williams's "Summer and Smoke".
Her performances in Alexander Pushkin's "Small tragedies" and Federico García Lorca's "The House of Bernarda Alba" soon followed, showcasing her remarkable range as an actress. After completing her studies, Sabina was recruited by Stas Namin's "Music and Drama Theatre" as a lead actress, where she thrived in both dramatic plays and lively musicals, including "Hair" and "Jesus Christ Superstar".
Her foray into the world of film began with a role as Irina, a romantic girl-next-door in "Christmas Gift" (2001). This was followed by a string of films and TV projects, including "Bachelors" and "Ivlampia Romanova". However, it was her role as Tamara in MTV's comedy "The Club" that truly catapulted her to fame, a position she held for five seasons.
This led to her most acclaimed role to date, Lana, in "Diversant 2". The year 2006 found Sabina furthering her studies at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. A testament to her versatility as an actor, Sabina has recently taken on the role of Goneril in William Shakespeare's "King Lear" at the Strasberg's Marilyn Monroe Theatre, and can be seen next as Amy in the independent feature "Taxi Man".
