Ryan Parks' early life on a Christmas tree farm in rural Oregon laid the foundation for his future endeavors, although he soon discovered that farming wasn't his calling. He sought new opportunities, and a stint as a river rafting guide allowed him to dip his toes into a different field.
This experience led to some stunt work on a TV show, which in turn sparked a spontaneous decision to pursue a career in acting. Packing up his car, Ryan embarked on a journey to Los Angeles, where he surprisingly found success in the entertainment industry.
He landed several national commercials and lead roles in movies that made it into Blockbuster, a feat that was a big deal in the past. Ryan also wrote and starred in an award-winning short film, which made it to the finals of Kevin Spacey's "Triggerstreet" film festival.
However, at the age of 30, Ryan faced an epiphany that led him down a path of uncomfortable self-discovery. He realized that he was the source of most of his problems and, refusing to give in to dysfunction, he embarked on a journey of recovery.
Through this process, Ryan became a world-class Firesaber performer and a gifted addiction/PTSD recovery counselor. He spent the last decade designing a program that makes individuals feel like the stars of an epic adventure video game, where they can earn a living by upgrading the real world with their lightsaber skills.
Ryan is now ready to re-enter the entertainment industry, equipped with new skills and a fresh perspective.
