Biography

Ryan O'Callaghan, a talented actor with over 30 acting credits to his name, has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. His impressive list of credits includes starring roles in Ari Taub's wacky gangster comedy, 79 Parts, alongside Eric Roberts and Sandra Bernhard, as well as Elias Campbell's Walk in the Park; Rakhee Morzaria's Note To Self, which was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award; Jana Stackhouse's sweet and quirky, The Man Who Never Sleeps; a coming-of-age indie film called Minor Motion Picture; a romantic comedy called Sam, directed by Nicholas Brooks, son of Mel; and a raunchy college feature called Total Frat Movie, directed by Warren P. Sonoda.

In addition to his film work, Ryan has also made a name for himself in the world of short films, appearing in several shorts including Beautiful, Enamour, The Aristofrogs, Inconclusive, Any Day Now, I Love You, The Soul Traveler, True Work, Appetite, and Little Kung Fu Dude. During this time, Ryan began to write and produce his own material, co-writing his first screenplay, Fickle, and later co-writing, co-producing, and starring in his second screenplay, Placebo. Placebo went on to become an Official Selection at six film festivals, including the Calgary International Film Festival, Soho International Film Festival, Garden State Film Festival, WorldFest: Houston International Film Festival, Scarborough Film Festival, and the Golden Egg Film Festival.

Ryan has also had the opportunity to work with the Godlight Theatre Company in New York City, where he has appeared in several productions, including One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Pilo Family Circus, In the Heat of the Night, and An Impending Rupture of the Belly. His performance in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest earned him a Drama Desk Award, while The Pilo Family Circus received a Special Drama Desk Award.

Ryan graduated from the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City, where he honed his craft and prepared for a career in the entertainment industry. After graduating, he landed the lead role and received critical acclaim for his performance as the teenage sociopath, Eric Harris, in the Off-Broadway play, The Columbine Project.
