Ryan Dillon was born in Anaconda, Montana, to Rev. Joseph and Paula Dillon. In 1984, the Dillon family relocated to Auburn, Washington, where Ryan began his modeling career at the age of ten, working for Nordstrom and other local retailers.
As he grew older, Ryan's passion for the performing arts led him to start acting in his father's church, starring in productions such as "Godspell" and "He Lived the Good Life". After graduating from Auburn Senior High School, Ryan moved to Southern California and enrolled at Marymount College in Palos Verdes.
Within two months of enrolling in college, Ryan signed with a talent agent and began working in music videos and TV commercials. He came close to booking leading roles in several notable films, including Varsity Blues (1999),Coach Carter (2005),and Spartacus (2010),but eventually took a break from Los Angeles and moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
In Phoenix, Ryan was signed by a local modeling agency and booked campaigns for several high-end retailers, including Dillard's, Neiman Marcus, Sacks 5th Avenue, and walked the runway for Giorgio Armani. After being called back to Los Angeles, Ryan continued to work in the entertainment industry, acting in independent films such as the award-winning feature Mercy (2003),written and directed by his close friend John Fitzpatrick.
Ryan also landed a role in the AFI, Gotham, and Spirit Award-winning feature Littlerock (2010) and served as producer and actor in John Fitzpatrick's acclaimed horror short Skypemare (2013),starring longtime friend Cerina Vincent. He continued to work with his Skypemare creative team, producing and featuring in both Brentwood Strangler (2015) and the monthly thriller series Scary Endings (2015).
Throughout his career, Ryan has been an avid supporter of Animal Rights and resides in Los Angeles, where he volunteers with animal nonprofits.
