Rosie O'Donnell, a talented individual, was born into an Irish-American family in Commack, Long Island, surrounded by a loving household consisting of her parents, Roseann Teresa (Murtha) and Edward Joseph O'Donnell, an electrical engineer employed by the defense industry, and her three siblings, with herself being the third of the five children.
