Biography

Rodney Arnold Grant, a renowned Native American actor, was born on March 9th, 1959. His early life was marked by abandonment, as his biological parents left him at just six months old. Fortunately, his grandparents took him in and raised him until he turned 23 in 1982. Rodney has five adult children, including three daughters from his ex-wife, who were raised by their mother, and two sons from previous relationships. He is currently married to Lee-Anne.

Throughout his career, Rodney has appeared in a range of major motion pictures and television shows. One notable role was in the CBS series "Stolen Women, Captured Hearts" (1997),opposite Janine Turner and Michael Greyeyes. He is perhaps most famous for his portrayal of "Wind in His Hair" in the iconic film "Dances with Wolves" (1990). Rodney's versatility as an actor has allowed him to take on a wide variety of roles in different genres.

Beyond his acting career, Rodney is dedicated to giving back to his community, particularly Native American youth. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne County, South Dakota. Currently, Rodney has stepped back from acting to focus on his family, charitable endeavors, and independent film projects.
