Biography

Robert was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and spent his early years attending Lacerte French School until his family relocated to Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania in 1969. He continued his education at the International School of Tanganyika, where he spent three formative years before returning to Canada for high school in Ottawa, Ontario.

Following high school, Robert began to pursue his passion for the performing arts, initially in musical theater and later in children's touring theater. He soon found himself drawn to the world of professional theater, where he acted and directed main stage productions for The Great Canadian Theatre Company in Ottawa.

As his experience and confidence grew, Robert transitioned to working in front of the camera, making guest appearances on popular television series such as Street Legal, Forever Knight, and Counterstrike. By the early 1990s, he had established himself as a talented and versatile actor, landing lead roles in TV series such as North of 60, where he played the role of RCMP officer Brian Fletcher.

Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Robert continued to work prolifically, appearing in a wide range of television series, including Wind at my Back, Our Hero, The Famous Jett Jackson, Nero Wolfe, and many others. He also made a name for himself as a voice artist, providing the voice of Robocop for the Marvel animated series, as well as characters in Sailor Moon, The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, X men, Maxie's World, Super Mario Brothers, Dennis the Menace, Max and Ruby, Monster Force, and numerous other projects.

In addition to his work in television and film, Robert is also a published author of short fiction and has written the screenplay for the short film This One Night. His debut novel, Willow's Run, is available worldwide. Robert currently resides in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, where he continues to work on a variety of creative projects.
