R.J. boasts a prestigious academic background, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Acting from Illinois State University, where he honed his skills in the realms of theatre, television, and armed/unarmed combat. Prior to his time at Illinois State University, R.J. further developed his craft at Moraine Valley Community College. Throughout his academic journey, R.J. has had the opportunity to embody a diverse range of characters, including Eric Harris in the thought-provoking production "columbinus", the whimsical March Hare in "Alice in Wonderland", the complex Prior Walter in "Angels in America", and the emotionally charged Justin Hammond in "After Ashley", for which he received an Irene Ryan nomination.
