Riyoko Ikeda

Riyoko Ikeda, a renowned Japanese writer, came into this world on December 18, 1947, in the vibrant city of Osaka, Japan. With her birth, a new chapter unfolded, and she would go on to make a lasting impact in the world of literature. Ikeda's extensive repertoire includes the critically acclaimed Lady Oscar: The Rose of Versailles, which first saw the light of day in 1979, followed closely by the equally successful Lady Oscar in the same year.
