Rick Ravanello's acting career commenced in 1996, paving the way for a multitude of television and film roles that ultimately led to an audition landing in the hands of the renowned filmmaker Steven Spielberg of Dreamworks SKG.
Spielberg promptly had Ravanello flown to Los Angeles where he met with the esteemed Tom Hanks and Tony To to discuss an upcoming project titled "Band of Brothers". Although Ravanello did not ultimately film the mini-series, Spielberg extended an offer for him to star in an upcoming Dreamworks television project.
Following his arrival in Los Angeles, Ravanello secured a role in the 2002 film "Hart's War", where he had the opportunity to work alongside the accomplished actor Bruce Willis in Prague, Czech Republic. "The Cave" subsequently brought him back onto the big screen alongside fellow "Hart's War" co-star and friend Cole Hauser a couple of years later. Through his diverse performances, Ravanello demonstrated his adaptability and range as a performer, effortlessly transitioning between character roles and leading man parts.
Born to Richard and Katherine Ravanello, the eldest of four brothers, Rick's family life was marked by tragedy with the loss of his younger brother Michael, who sustained a brain injury in 1994 and remained hospitalized until his passing. Despite this challenging experience, Ravanello has chosen to focus on the positive aspects of his life, actively supporting various charitable organizations that benefit the United States Military, cancer patients, and their families.
In his free time, Ravanello enjoys playing golf and is an enthusiastic practitioner of martial arts, with Muay Thai being a particular favorite of his.
