Richard Sharrah, a twin and third of four children, was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and spent his youth attending schools in various cities and countries due to his father's profession. In Melbourne, Australia, he studied the arts and developed a passion for theatre, which he continued to pursue while attending high school in Oklahoma.
As a student at the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts, Richard refined his many innate talents and artistic vision. His early experiences traveling as a child instilled in him a love for exploring new cultures and people, which has driven his desire to travel extensively throughout his life.
Richard's travels have taken him to every corner of the globe, including North and South America, Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia. The wealth of knowledge and experiences he gained from his travels has greatly benefited his acting career, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to his roles.
Throughout his career, Richard has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Just Let Go (2015),Being Charlie (2015),Blood & Oil (2015),and Grown-ish (2018). His lead performances in "Bar Abba" and "Mejorar La Raza" have received critical acclaim from Academy Award Qualifying Film Festivals across the nation.
Today, Richard resides in Los Angeles, California, where he continues to work as an actor and pursue his passion for the arts.
