Richard is a renowned writer, director, and producer who has made a significant impact in the industry. In 2005, he founded New Daydream Films (NDF),a production company that has produced a remarkable 7 feature films and numerous television series since its inception. NDF has achieved notable success, particularly with "Waiting for Butterflies", a film that Richard wrote, produced, and directed, which is currently being screened across the country and has received exceptional reviews.
In addition to his work at NDF, Richard has collaborated with THE iNDEE, a Charlotte-based independent film studio, to develop and produce lower-budget writer/director-driven features. This partnership has resulted in multiple completed features and an exciting list of projects in development.
Richard has also worked as a senior producer at Halogen TV, where he produced over 30 hours of internationally broadcast television, including 35 episodes of the award-winning documentary series "Tainted Love", which currently airs on Participant Media's Pivot TV. Furthermore, he is part of the producing team for INSP Original Movies, which is set to produce several feature films per year, all of which will debut in the network's 80+ million households.
