Richard Morgan Skidmore, a 7-time Emmy-winning actor and spokesperson, is renowned for his remarkable versatility and commanding stage presence, which he has expertly paired with comedic turns throughout his illustrious career.
Born in Pittsburgh, Skidmore earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University and later received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps. Prior to his acting career, he spent 15 years honing his investigative journalism skills in various newsrooms, a valuable experience that has served him well in his diverse range of acting roles.
Skidmore's early career was marked by his work as the "3 On Your Side" guy for KTVK-3TV in Phoenix, where he simultaneously launched his acting career by landing the lead role of Paul Bratter in Neil Simon's "Barefoot in the Park". He went on to star in three more plays, including "Catch Me if You Can", "Love Rides the Rails", and "The Good Doctor", earning a Best Actor award for his performance in the latter.
