Biography

Ravil Isyanov's life journey began in 1962, within the sprawling metropolis of Greater Moscow, specifically in the city of Voskresensk, nestled in the Soviet Union. From a young age, he was exposed to a diverse range of artistic pursuits, including music, ballet, theatre, and sports, with a particular emphasis on ice hockey, boxing, and soccer.

Following the completion of his national service in the Soviet Air Force, which lasted for two years, Ravil embarked on a professional career, working for two seasons at the esteemed Khabarovsk Theatre. This early experience laid the foundation for his future artistic endeavors.

Subsequently, Ravil enrolled in the prestigious Moscow Art Theatre School, where he spent four formative years honing his craft. Concurrently, he took advantage of opportunities to study at the Oxford branch of the British American Drama Academy, attending three summer sessions.

The year 1990 marked a significant turning point in Ravil's life, as he received an invitation from Theater Clwyd in Wales, leading him to relocate to the UK. Following the collapse of the USSR, he chose to remain in Britain, continuing to work and build his career.

In 1998, Ravil made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, driven by a desire to pursue his aspirations in the film industry. He would go on to spend the remainder of his life working and residing in this vibrant city, leaving an indelible mark on the world of cinema.
