Rashmi, a native of Lucknow, India, has been weaving narratives since her formative years, initially through radio plays and theatre. A polyglot proficient in Hindi, Urdu, and English, she has had the opportunity to perform in numerous plays across the country.
With a passion for storytelling, Rashmi has ventured into filmmaking, scripting, producing, and acting in several short films that focus on socially impactful themes, aiming to inspire audiences to drive positive change. Her critically acclaimed short film, Unborn, sheds light on a pressing issue affecting the Indian American communities and is currently available on Amazon Prime.
Most recently, Rashmi completed work on the feature film, Designed by Preeti, shot on location in the San Francisco Bay Area. This thought-provoking film tackles the sensitive topic of domestic violence, ultimately seeking to empower its victims.
Beyond her acting pursuits, Rashmi is an avid gardener, an enthusiastic cook, and a prolific writer, operating a popular food blog that showcases her culinary skills.
