Qin Junjie, a multifaceted and humble individual, was born on September 1, 1991, in Fujian, China. It was his sister's suggestion that led him to audition for Zhang Yimou's Curse of the Golden Flower, and he successfully landed the role of Prince Yuancheng, marking his professional debut.
Following his appearance in the two installments of The Prince of Tennis, he took a hiatus from the public eye in 2010 to pursue his passion for acting by enrolling in the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama. He made his comeback in 2012 with a supporting role in the romance series Beautiful Day, where he portrayed a playboy from a wealthy family.
After gaining experience through various supporting roles in shows like The Legend of Qin, Noble Aspirations, and The Glory of Tang Dynasty, Qin Junjie received his first leading role in 2017's The Legend of Dragon Pearl, where he skillfully portrayed the renowned Kangxi Emperor.
Since then, he has continued to take on a vast range of leading roles in shows such as the teen romance drama Summer's Desire, the espionage drama Spy Hunter, and the crime show Never Say Never. His upcoming works include the historical drama Peace in Palace, Peace in Chang'an, Heng Shan Hospital, and Faith.
