Biography

Pratima Anae, a multifaceted individual, was born and raised in a small Amish town in the Midwest, the middle child of Indian immigrant parents who pursued the American dream. Her upbringing in this unconventional setting was marked by her parents' relentless pursuit of success, which would eventually shape her own path.

As a beauty queen, Pratima's crowning achievement was being crowned Miss Indiana USA, a feat that opened doors to new opportunities. She made history by becoming the first woman of East Indian descent to place in the top six at Miss USA, earning recognition in prominent publications such as India Today.

Pratima's foray into the entertainment industry began when she signed with Ford Models, one of the world's most renowned modeling agencies, after relocating to New York City. Her work has been featured in prestigious publications, including Vogue Italia, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Town and Country, and Glamour, alongside renowned photographers such as Victor Skrebneski. She has modeled for top brands like Calvin Klein, Betsey Johnson, Giuseppe Zanotti, Hanes, Stefan Hafner, Arbonne, and Artistry Cosmetics.

Pratima's formal theatrical education began in New York, where she studied the Meisner technique. Her work eventually took her to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. Her impressive film, TV, and theatre credits include performances in Shakespeare's classic, "How To Seduce Difficult Women," "Outsourced," "All My Children," and "Beautiful." Additionally, Pratima hosts a series of lifestyle events, conducting interviews with notable figures such as Salman Rushdie, Kal Penn, and Mira Nair.

Growing up in a family that values philanthropy, Pratima is deeply committed to giving back. She is part of a charitable project that constructed a hospital for the poor, Menno-Clinic India, built in the donated remains of her mother's childhood home. This free hospital serves a population of 20,000, providing access to healthcare that previously did not exist.

Pratima is also the founder and creator of WIN, Working to Instill New Attitudes, a summer day camp for at-risk children. Her dedication to making a positive impact extends to her academic pursuits, having graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary's-Notre Dame and earning a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Brandeis School of Law, where she received the Book Award for Conflicts of Law.
