Peter Powell was a prolific writer, whose notable works include the screenplay for the 1980 science fiction film, The Final Countdown, as well as the 1975 drama film, The 'Human' Factor.
Despite his impressive body of work, Powell's life was cut tragically short, as he passed away on February 2, 1980, in the iconic city of London, situated in the southeastern region of England, within the United Kingdom.
