Peter Foldy's life journey began in Budapest, but his formative years were spent in Sydney, Australia, where he kick-started his career as a teen actor in television commercials. A family move to Canada subsequently led him to enroll in film school, concurrently supporting himself by playing guitar in a rock band. This dual pursuit culminated in a successful 10-year run in the music industry, during which he secured a recording contract. However, his passion for filmmaking ultimately prevailed, and he redirected his focus towards the silver screen. To date, Foldy has directed an impressive eleven feature films, collaborating with notable actors such as Paul Rudd, Beverly D'Angelo, Eugene Levy, and Academy Award winner, Louise Fletcher. Despite his primary focus on cinema, Foldy continues to nurture his musical talents, releasing new music available on Spotify and other streaming services.
