Pekka Strang was born in Helsinki, Finland in 1977, as the second child to Jukka Strang and Camilla Strang (Andersson),making him the younger brother of Janne Strang, who was born in 1974.
Growing up in the charming town of Vasa, located on the west coast of Finland, Pekka was exposed to the world of acting at a very young age. His passion for performing was ignited early on, and he began taking his craft seriously from his first lead appearance as the character Arne Anka for Vasa's student theater, Rampi.
In 1997, Pekka's talent and dedication earned him a spot at TEAK, Finland's leading acting school, where he went on to graduate in 2001. This marked the beginning of a successful acting career, with various roles in both film and theater in Finland, often receiving critical and public acclaim.
Since 2005, Pekka has been employed as the artistic director for Lilla Teatern in Helsinki, further solidifying his position as a respected figure in the Finnish acting community.
