Peggy Mannix was born on November 26, 1949, in St. Albans, New York, and spent her childhood in Sayville, New York. Her journey into the world of acting began with her first jobs at the renowned Gateway Playhouse, located near her hometown. The couple packed up their 1964 Chevy Nova with a single functioning headlight and set out for the West Coast, making Los Angeles their home for the past 40 years.
In Los Angeles, Peggy began to build a television career, securing small roles in various popular sitcoms of the time. She continued to perform in regional theatres throughout Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento, always staying true to her love of acting.
In recent years, Peggy has successfully pursued a secondary career as a Public Speaker for FIDM, a role she held for 13 years. Currently, she serves as a consultant for two Culinary Arts Non-Profits, where she teaches Interpersonal Skills to their students.
