Paul Dalio's academic journey began at the tender age of 20, when he enrolled in the esteemed NYU Tisch School of the Arts Dramatic Writing program, where he would go on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004.
Following his undergraduate studies, Paul further honed his craft by attending the NYU Graduate Film Program in 2007, where he had the good fortune of meeting his wife and long-time collaborator, Kristina Nikolova.
During his time at NYU, Paul had the privilege of studying under the tutelage of the illustrious Spike Lee, who would later become his mentor and executive producer on his feature film debut.
Paul's big break came with the release of "Touched with Fire," a film that he wrote, directed, scored, and co-edited, and which premiered at the prestigious SXSW festival in 2015 under the title "Mania Days."
The film, which starred Katie Holmes and Luke Kirby, was later released theatrically in February 2016 by Roadside Attractions, and went on to receive widespread critical acclaim, including the SAMHSA Voice Award, a New York Times Critics' Pick, and a 94% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Today, Paul resides in New York City with his wife, Kristina, and their two children, where he continues to work on a wide range of creative projects.
