Patrick Huard is a multifaceted individual with a wide range of skills and accomplishments. As an actor, he has appeared in 15 feature films, including La Vie après l'Amour, Nez Rouge, Sur le Seuil, and Bon Cop Bad Cop, for which he co-wrote the screenplay and became one of the biggest box office successes in Canada.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Patrick has worked in various capacities, including as a comedian, filmmaker, author, emcee, director, and producer. He has also made a name for himself in the world of live performance, presenting three one-man shows, including Le Bonheur, which he is currently touring the province with.
On television, Patrick has played a wide range of characters, from guy guys to bad guys and even a drag queen, in shows such as Music Hall, Cover Girl, and Taxi 0-22, where he spent four seasons as Rogatien, his famous irascible taxi driver. He has also hosted several Juste pour rire galas, the Gala de l'ADISQ, the Soirée des Jutra, and a comedy series on Radio-Canada.
Increasingly, Patrick has also been found behind the camera, producing and directing videos, commercials, and a documentary for Canal D. He has also produced and directed his first feature film, Les 3 P'tits Cochons, which became the biggest box office hit in Quebec in 2007.
