Ophelia Lucy Lovibond is a renowned English actress, hailing from Shepherd's Bush, London, where she was raised in a single-parent family. Her academic journey began at Latymer Upper School, where she was a scholarship student, and she later attended the Young Blood theatre company, a drama club for youth, in Hammersmith.
Lovibond's thirst for knowledge led her to the University of Sussex, where she studied English Literature and graduated in 2005 with a first-class degree. Her academic accomplishments paved the way for a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Lovibond made her television debut at the tender age of 12 in the Channel 4 sitcom The Wilsons (2000). She went on to appear in the TV series FM (2009) and later became a regular in season 3 of Elementary (2012),playing the role of Kitty Winter, Sherlock's new apprentice.
In 2014, Lovibond appeared as Izzy Gould in the BBC satire W1A and played the role of Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker in the Sky1 series Hooten & the Lady (2016). Her impressive resume also includes a regular role in season 3 of Elementary (2012),as Sherlock's new apprentice, Kitty Winter.
Lovibond's film debut was in Roman Polanski's Oliver Twist (2005). She has since appeared in a range of films, including the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy (2009),4.3.2.1. (2010) alongside Emma Roberts & Tamsin Egerton, London Boulevard (2010),No Strings Attached (2011),Mr. Popper's Penguins (2011),and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014),where she played the role of Carina, The Collector's slave.
