Olia's passion for storytelling began in her childhood in Siberia, a region steeped in rich cultural heritage, during the tumultuous reign of the USSR in the 1990s. As political uncertainty loomed large, Olia found solace in fantasy, a means of escapism from the world around her. Her introduction to Slavic folklore at the tender age of eight, courtesy of her psychic grandmother, marked the beginning of her lifelong fascination with the art of storytelling.
Inspired by the Soviet propaganda that had a profound impact on millions and the Slavic fairy tales that delve into our deepest fears and beliefs, Olia has crafted impactful stories that evoke emotions and tap into the human psyche. Her creative journey was further fueled by her academic pursuits, as she majored in Communication Studies with a minor in Mandarin Chinese at KSTU in Russia.
Following her graduation, Olia made the bold decision to travel to Hollywood, where she enrolled in the prestigious MFA program at USC, focusing on Film and TV Production. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she produced a feature film, "Baby Doll", and directed a feature thriller, "Snowbound", which was completed within an impressive nine months and screened at the esteemed Marche Du Film during the 70th Annual Cannes Film Festival.
In addition to her work in film, Olia has also created several immersive theatrical shows that have garnered recognition within the art community. Today, she continues her journey as a filmmaker and content creator, driven by a strong leadership mentality and a deep understanding of human psychology. Drawing upon her childhood experiences, cultural knowledge, and insight into human nature, Olia crafts stories that are sure to leave a lasting impact on audiences for generations to come.
