Nina Jones is the youngest of four children born to Elder Jones, a successful head salesman for Siskin Steel, and Peggie Sue (Sparks) Jones, a homemaker and talented painter, who brought together a rich cultural heritage of Welsh, Irish, and Scottish descent, with a possible hint of Cherokee ancestry passed down through the family.
Growing up, Nina's educational journey began at Brainerd High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she laid the foundation for her future pursuits. She then pursued higher education, initially studying ballet under the guidance of Constance Hardinge at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Virginia.
Nina's passion for dance led her to the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in modern dance. Following her graduation, she made the bold move to New York City, immersing herself in the city's vibrant dance scene.
During her time in New York, Nina's interest in acting blossomed, and she began training with renowned institutions such as Roundabout Theatre, Terry Schriber, and The Real Stage. Her love for the performing arts, encompassing theatre, choreography, and dance, has remained a constant driving force throughout her life.
Today, Nina resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia, where she continues to nurture her artistic spirit, forever grateful for the foundation laid by her family, education, and experiences that have shaped her into the multifaceted individual she is today.
