D. N. Rudall, a renowned figure in the realm of Classics, first drew his first breath in Llanelli, Wales, in the year 1940. His academic pursuits took him to the esteemed halls of Cambridge University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree. Not content to rest on his laurels, Rudall went on to acquire his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the prestigious Cornell University. Since 1965, he has held the distinguished position of professor of Classics at the University of Chicago.
